http://www.rawstory.com/2016/07/elizabeth-warren-absolutely-shreds-terrifying-trumppence-ticket-two-small-insecure-weak-men/ven if Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren is not selected to be Hillary Clintons running mate, she has definitely secured herself a spot in the campaign as the go-to person for unrestrained and brutally frank criticism of the GOP ticket.
As Donald Trump prepared to formally announce Indiana Gov. Mike Pence as his running mate, Warren launched an all-out assault on the ticket, calling the Republican duo two small, insecure, weak men.
(snip)
.@realDonaldTrump & @mike_pence are a perfect match: Two small, insecure, weak men who use hate & fear to divide our country & our people, she began and then it was on.
Of COURSE @realDonaldTrump a guy who calls women fat pigs & bimbos picked a VP who is famous for trying to control womens bodies.
(end snip)
Thank you, Sen. Warren.

It will be a shot in the arm for the millions of Democrats who voted for Bernie Sanders, and it will UNIFY the Democratic Party.
If you pick Sen. Warren, you will easily defeat Trump & Pence!

(2,657 posts)I think it is GREAT how Elizabeth Warren attacks Trump and now Pence. The more the better and it is all dead-on correct. IMHO the bully's nose MUST be bloodied repeatedly until he no longer bullys.
We all want HRC to be the next President of the United States. It goes without saying that it will be historic in the GREATEST SENSE to have that glass ceiling smashed by a person who should be elected regardless of her gender. With that in mind, her choice for VP should be someone who enhances her chances of reaching that goal. I believe we all agree upon that.
Now my question. Is there a chance that her having a female running mate would be "too much" change in one step for some people who would otherwise vote for her?

(1,151 posts)I feel that if 2 women on a ticket causes Trump to win then it doesn't say much good about whether the American experiment deserves to continue.

(27,820 posts)but this year, considering the possibility of the racist, bigoted, Hitler protégé Donald Trump becoming POTUS, all bets are off; and choosing EW as her running mate will
a) Unite a now-divided Democratic Party
b) Insure that HRC will get the "millennial" vote, as well as the vast majority of the millions
of Dems who voted for Bernie
c) Likely get the votes of millions of Independents who might otherwise vote for a 3rd party
candidate like Jill Stein, because they, too, are afraid of a Trump presidency

Sometimes I don't know how we've hung on, or how we've done it,
considering the state legislatures and governorships imbalances, but
we have.
Despite the Fascist Gang of 17 that ran, and Senate and House minorities,
we, Democrats, have the surrogates of stature while the Super Majority
are a bunch of weasel-eyed, paranoid, mentally constricted lame brain
losers who couldn't raise a crowd in a church. Plus, they go on TV with the
sorriest excuses for logic, facts, and syllogisms that newsrooms have ever seen.
Plus we have a popular ex-president, and a popular incumbent president. The GOP
model dances like a drunken marionette and must have controlled venues to appear
in public.
They say it in sports - Dems have the horses.

(581 posts)we have the Republican leaders in the House and Senate that do absolutely nothing to protect us. not debating the Syria war or ISIS crisis. It is a situation that should make sane American to think of who they want to be leaders.
The insane crisis for Clinton is the relentless attacks and investigations against her by the Republicans. They have attack the Clinton since the 1990s. And it continues today.
