As far as I know, there have been no white gun-toting revolts over the issues in the OP.

And no, I'm not an NRA member and never was. I do own an old Ruger 10-22 and a shotgun. I think all semi-autos, both pistols and rifles, should have a magazine capacity limit of 5 to 7 rounds. All existing high capacity magazines should be collected and destroyed. This wouldn't infringe on anyone's right to possess an AR-15, but it would give future victims of a would-be mass killer a slim chance to counter attack while he or she reloads.

I responded to the OP because I don't think it's fair to broad-brush any demographic; even whites.

And why the broad brush smear? We generally don't hold an entire demographic responsible for the actions of the few. At least I don't.

A recent meme by conservatives is "Blue Lives Matter" but when shown the Conservative, Christian, Patriot militia member (Oregon) calling for his fellow conservatives to come shoot (kill) police, they run away when they cannot show many (any?) conservatives proclaiming "Blue Lives Matter".

Apparently it's ok with our conservatives to kill police when it is conservatives encouraging/requesting it.
