and not in a good way, like Thom Hartmann. Trump has the personality of a spoiled brat who cannot tolerate being told either 'no' or that he is in any way wrong or responsible for anything beyond his successes. As time passes, it seems many of his 'successes' were not so successful after all, although he seems to have been able to cover for and profit from his screwups rather well.

I don't know about 'tweaking' but it is entirely possible that his mood moderating drugs were wearing off there.

6. Sorry, but I disagree

Donald Trump doesn't drink because of his brother's death decades ago from alcoholism. By all accounts of his life, Mr. Trump is opposed to illegal drugs. Oddly, it's one of his very few positive attributes.

However, I think he's insane. His inconsistency and lack of policy coherence illustrate a lack of intellectual discipline. His behavior, like his facial expressions and "mugging for the camera," indicate someone who is either completely unserious or someone who is detached from reality. And his treatment of other people, whether expressed against individuals or large groups, demonstrates his arrogance, hatred, bigotry (of all forms), insensitivity and selfishness. He's psychotic and sociopathic and a danger to himself and others. That's my professional opinion! (wink)

Regardless, Mr. Trump should be on serious medication and in treatment for his retransformation to a human being.

Unfortunately, he's an idiot.

14. I'm with you - intoxicated in Cincinnati??

He really acted intoxicated in his Cincinnati speech - slurring and manic. Then the next speech he gave, he looked depressed and like he was on downers.

if he drank in the privacy of his home, only to tell the world he's a teetotaler.

Either that, or he's high--and hooked--on either speed or coke.

the notion that a NYC real estate tycoon who partied his way to headlines over and over in the 80s and 90s isn't a coke head is humorous.

9. I totally agree with you, and to me it is VERY noticeable lately

Frankly I am shocked that more people don't point it out as it seems SO obvious. I thought it was painfully obvious during the 60 Minutes interview. I started noticing it a couple of months ago, and it seems to be getting worse -- which makes sense as he is under more pressure psychologically and physically. His lines about "oh I've never done drugs ever or touched a drink ever" seem to me to be very hard to believe given his lifestyle and the people with whom he surrounded himself.

But yes his extremely hyper, agitated behavior, slurring of words (I really noticed this in one of the last speeches he gave before the VP pick stuff), constant interrupting of others (and he is 70 not 15 so comparing him to a kid with ADHD doesn't account for his behavior in my mind -- I don't care how spoiled he is -- this reflects a physiological issue), constant jerking around in his chair and hyper antics at the podium, rapid-fire "machine gun" language, which is even one of the signs of a person hopped up on an amphetamine

They think that they can stay up late and party all night and then just take a little white pill in the morning. It may take a while but the dam will burst eventually.

Either way, no one seems to care. He could eat a kitten on live TV and it wouldn't matter. There is literally nothing the man could do to shake his "base" out of its xenophobic, sullen stupor. He would find a way to "blame" it on Hillary, or Obama, or the media, and the machine would grind on.

What, me cynical?

11. Trump has all the symptoms and characteristics of extreme Narcissistic Personality Disorder.

I have been involved with a person who had this problem. There are many levels of narcissism and many "normal" successful people are low level narcissists. But some develop into dangerous extreme disorders which affects their day to day life especially social interactions. The only people a narcissist can tolerate are those who believe all the crap they say about themselves. If you challenge a narcissist's claims.. lookout. The Trump / Warren feud is a classic case. She has really poked his narcissistic buttons and he cant stand it.

He's manic in one speech, depressive in the next - maybe he has a little bi-polar going on with his narcissism. All of the personality disorders overlap.
