After the dust settled, columnist Cox has summed up Novembers election featuring Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump beautifully.
This is a really important point, she began. This is a really historic election, right? Were either going to elect the first female president or the last president period.
Wow. That is quite a statement to mull over. Hopefully, it concentrates the mind.

(10,952 posts)countries that house US basis would really need to rethink that. Would you want a Trump controlled military base in your backyard? Imagine if there were to be a global demand for the US to pack up and get out. How would Trump handle that? Logistically and financially it would be a nightmare and what would he do with all those members of the military (and what ever assets he could get moved back)? He could end up being responsible for the reorganization of global alliances with the US left out of the loop.
And what counties in their right minds would want to share intelligence data with a Trump WH?
He would probably get along with the new Prime Minister of GB as she has already come across as willing to launch their nukes.

I don't know if I agree with her hyperbole or not, but it "concentrates" my mind, not on the statement, but the offensive arrogance.
America will get what the majority votes for.
