(146,317 posts)incidents. He is a boorish man, used to getting what he wants from whom he wants it. It's a commonplace in the world he inhabits, and if we knew about all the people in positions like his who sexually assaulted women, we'd be shocked out of our skins.
Most often, such accusations can't be proven in court, however, and are "he said; she said" sorts of cases. Because of that, the media usually doesn't present them in public.
More's the pity. I do hope that more people who had such things happen to them go public with their accounts. Cumulative reports do tend to carry more weight with the media and the public.
I have no doubt, whatsoever, that he has done things like that multiple times in his life.

(16,846 posts)He seems like the kind of person who thinks he can do whatever he pleases. Considering how unusual it is to see men like him punished for the things they do, it shouldn't be surprising that he believes that.
