Trump Wants His VP to Handle The Work. He wants to be Chairman of the Board

Donald Trump Jr. has released a statement to CNN denying reports that he offered Ohio Gov. John Kasich to be in charge of foreign and domestic policy saying, "You know the way I conduct myself. Do you really believe I would say 'John Kasich is in charge of foreign and domestic policy and Donald J. Trump will focus on making America great again?' What am I a meathead?"

Are you a meathead? Yeah. As oily a meathead as your old man.

Speaking of oily meatheads, here's Paul Manafort, back in May:

The vice presidential pick will also be part of the process of proving he’s ready for the White House, Manafort said.

“He needs an experienced person to do the part of the job he doesn’t want to do. He seems himself more as the chairman of the board, than even the CEO, let alone the COO.”

As if this is a good thing in a President?

That's what's so frightening. If Trump's too lazy to do the work himself (and thereby potentially saving us from nuclear war), then we'd have to worry about Pence bringing us back about 100 years. GREAT.

As long as that chairman is not Trump.

A President cannot micromanage everything in such a massive country as the USA.

I have read a bit of recent American history though.

But, being European I am obviously not an expert.

I am a Norwegian social democrat who really likes Bernie Sanders and from what I have read of Carter, including his activism after the presidency, I would have liked him too.

run the day to day operations. Like Trump, Bush made a fortune as a reckless businessman, weaseling his way out of any responsibility for his poor decisions. Trump has even less government experience than Bush, and since Pence is no Dick Cheney, he can't delegate authority to his VP.
