Trump's name should not be uttered at this convention

screw him. Every mention of his name feeds his ego.

Talk about all of the positive things we support. Our platform is awesome.

We can still compare and contrast -- for instances, "Hillary supports a Supreme Court that looks like America, and applies the Constitution to today's problems -- not the problems written when slavery was allowed"; however, don't mention Trump.

Or uttered as little as possible; e.g.: "My opponent, Donald Trump, tells you to be scared right down to your toes, and claims only he can save America. Well, he's wrong." Proceed from there with an outline of just how resilient America and its political institutions are, and how they can function as intended again if voters put Democrats in charge of Congress and the White House.
