I have been turning it off each time they focus on Trump for months. Now, I have just turned them off! The coverage is trying to create division, the commentary is repetitive and boring, democrats are not fairly represented, Rachel Maddow is silenced for the most part, Chris Hayes is non-existant, and rarely show the actual convention.

(21,812 posts)Comentators tend to forget that THEY are NOT the story - what's going on at the convention floor is the story.

(27,742 posts)- I have my doubts about them actually being delegates, that were Bernie supporters, they were given about 10 min each to express their sour opinions about Hillary. There were 3 of them, one after another non stop.
This was complete bullshit.

(16,104 posts)The NBC family of networks has succeeded - the "Trump Network" has successfully promoted the "Presidential Apprentice" and voters actually believe this created celebrity with no qualifications or experience could function in the highest office in the land.
The trick is to keep this going until November 8th!
It could be worth millions if not billions in advertising dollars and promotional events!

Even Rachel has grown too repetitive and too talking-pointy to watch.

(21,596 posts)She rarely offers the progressive voice during convention coverage that she once might have. I'm glad you see something different becaus maybe the man who watch may get some progressive views.

(54,445 posts)She might as well be taking her pointers from Chris Wallace. Grab a right wing point of view, and then pose questions that assume that the right wing point of view is fact. She might as well be working for Fox or the Washington Times.
Brian Williams isn't much better, and even openly Republican Steve Schmidt comes across as more unbiased than the NBC regulars. The MSNBC commentators' team has become Suzy Creamcheese inasmuch as someone needs to ask "what's got into ya?"

(36,063 posts)Rachel Maddow is dreadful in how she has to introduce things 4 or 5 times before revealing them.
For a while I though ODonnel at least tried to work angles the others didn't, but often that's not true either.
