Thought the Convention coverage would be better with PBS, but when
Judy Woodruff cut in during the middle of Cory Booker's speech to
talk with Mark Shields I was furious. Today at work I put on C-span
via Sirius/XM. Oh what a relief it was. So many interesting speakers, some
are not huge or well known but all have compelling stories. I was going
to write to PBS and complain about their abysmal Convention coverage but what's the use.

(20,588 posts)to tell us what to think about the speech they are not allowing us to listen to ? In their minds they must consider themselves superior to everyone else. C-Span for me too.

and MSNBC enabled me to survive the Bush years.

(2,072 posts)They talk over news with their stupid analysis and "wisdom." I abhore twitter, but #onlycspan or something similar -- complain around them not to them. There is implicit respect and authority given when we seek their audience even to complain.
