(7,570 posts)I don't have any trouble at all with term limits. It just makes it more important to VOTE in the right people the next time around.

(72,790 posts)But I'm saying, there's always a chance Rs could be elected for more than 8 if there were no term limits. No, thanks, to that.

(722 posts)Besides, term limits in my view are anti-democratic. To paraphrase Justice Holmes, if the people want a 3rd term of Bush, the only meaning of democracy is that they should have their way.

(2,785 posts)When Biden was speaking MSNBC showed a split screen of the President walking off the plane and to me his body language was screaming swagger. Just had a feeling his speech would be epic and it was.

(3,784 posts)He hit PAST the upper deck, out of the stadium, over the parking lot, and into the next county. Dumb Donald could never in a million years deliver something like that. I honestly don't know how anyone could watch Obama and Bloomberg's speeches from last night and still vote for Drumpf.

(722 posts)That's how we re-forge the Obama coalition and energize young voters, by affirming our shared values of equal opportunity and self-government.

(7,570 posts)I knew he would bring the house down, and he did. It was the most entertaining and engaging speech I've seen in a long time. And that's saying something, because his wife was absolutely spectacular just two days before.
