that no matter what threats or complaints are made, what insults are hurled, what is shouted, what is screamed, what is thrown, what is lit on fire, what bodily functions people choose not to control, and no matter if I agree or disagree with Secretary Clinton...
Tonight when she speaks there is nothing that anyone can do or say that will
-make me feel embarrassed for Sec. Clinton,
-that will actually embarrass her since these would be actions undertaken by people as insane as Donald Trump
-that will embarrass this political party
To be allowed to listen to the first female presidential nominee ever over air waves or the internet is a historic moment in time for Americans, not for american groups disenchanted with the difficulty EVERY group has to be heard.
So be aware, no matter what you do or don't do, I for one, will relish this historic moment of Secretary Clinton's and of the country I believe she loves.
Who's with me?

(23,105 posts)So excited to hear her acceptance speech, I'm leaving work now to get my walk in, eat dinner and be seated with the tv on the convention, waiting for one of the most significant speeches I will ever hear. I bet she bangs it out of the park!!

(5,902 posts)And with her because the stakes are much too high, and - as Bernie himself liked to point out - on her worst day, Hillary's still a million times better than any Republican running these days (certainly Benedict Donald and his medieval crash-test dummyl!).
