Bernie people for Trump: We can't have Democratic Socialism so let's have National Socialism.

It doesn't make a lick of sense why about 10% of Bernie people support Trump. This isn't an immaterial percentage of the overall electorate. These people could hold sway over some close-run states. What the Hell is wrong with them?

more than a few realize voting for Stein is a wasted vote. So they will vote for Trump, to bring on the revolution faster.

Bernie also pulled some right-leaning independents as well. That's essentially why he had such huge leads over Trump in the polls. It was the case he was trying to make to the superdelegates.

Notice now that the dust from the primaries have settled, those crossover votes have been drifting back to Trump. And now suddenly the race is competitive.

They say 10-20% of Bernie voters could vote Trump or 3rd party. The thing is, those 10-20% are not loyal to the party to begin with.

Trump and Sanders have both made statements against economic globalization, for example.

I've met some people who are global conspiracy kooks, and they tended to like both Trump and Sanders.

I'm in SE Michigan. We have open primaries in our state. I know a pretty large group of voters that are just against Ms.Clinton. They voted for Bernie in the primary and some I know even donated On a quite regular basis.

Now like cattle in a corral going to slaughter they only have one direction to go, Trump.

I supported Bernie and campaigned for him here. I thought it was great that even more very conservative people were crossing over to his side.

But... They didn't share his beliefs, they didn't care about electing him, they just voted against Hillary.
