I detest Donald Trump but those pictures of his wife in the New York Post

are not helping anything. It is a bit much. I remember when all kinds of pictures were and still are being posted of Michelle Obama. I hated those too. Somehow, politics needs to find a line that will not be crossed. Now the focus will move from Donald's insanity and move to the pics of his wife and might increase his support in an empathetic way. Just collecting my thoughts.

Wendi Deng reportedly had several high profile affairs while married to Murdoch. Theses included former PM Tony Blair and Google CEO Eric Schmidt. Those affairs were apparently overlapping and led to her divorce from Murdoch.

There are recent reports that Deng has been dating Putin. Murdoch recently married Jerry Hall -- yes, that Jerry Hall.

I feel kind of bad for her. She posed for those photos when she was 25 and trying to make it as a model in Europe. That was over 20 years ago.

I think soul-less trump is exploiting her for his own selfish purposes. She looked thoroughly miserable throughout that repuke convention.

shameful in any way for a woman doing that and hasn't been since the Renaissance. There is nothing shameful in the female body, and there is nothing shocking here.

I've looked at the photos, and it is easy to see why she should be proud of her work here and of her body. I enjoyed looking.

However, these are DIFFERENT from the pictures of Michelle Obama. These are professional modelling pics intended for public display. She is selling her sex appeal.

I have nothing to say about them, but it does tell you what sort of qualities Donald Trump looks for in women.

This strikes me as another one of his "Look at my hot wife" sideshows. His knuckle-dragger supporters just love this kind of thing. They're far more impressed that he was able to snag a Russian model than they are concerned about the lack of actual detail and substance in his campaign. What better thing to distract them from his bashing of the parents of a dead soldier than a picture of naked Melania?

He's filed many a frivolous lawsuit so winning isn't the only goal. This would be a supportive move.

C'mon, the wife of the nominee of the 'family values' party posed for nudie pics. Remember the outrage when Janet Jackson dared to expose a nipple for half a second?

Clinton should make sure as many people as possible get to see those pics. Let's have the 'family values' party try to explain the potential First Lady's lack of family values.

She made that bed, she can sleep in it. You couldn't be more wrong about it helping him, it will in fact hurt him with fundamentalist voters. What line was crossed? She willingly posed for semi nude pics, maybe that offends you but it is reality.

We cannot control the way they view women, we can only try to educate. What this shows is that Trump will use his wife in a campaign like this. They are literally using is as a strategy. Interesting some keep trying to bring this to our doorstep.

Seems like he would have gotten advance notice about the release and been able to prevent the pictures from being printed if the publisher is a Trump ally and supporter since he has a history of quashing plenty of other stories he didn't want printed.

He certainly retaliated when the Ted Cruz supporters brought out the Melanie picture scandal sparking his feud with Ted Cruz involving their wives.

The pics were printed by a right wing Murdoch paper in an attempt to control the news cycle by changing the dominant conversation.

Our job is to let it die out and focus on the important flaws, not ogle and comment on his wife's body.

So there is a hypocrisy angle which I think is relevant. The fact of the matter is, most Americans don't give a shit about nekkid pictures or films of consenting adults having sex.

This highlights the disconnect between actual reality in 2016 and the fundamentalist wackadoodles who want to censor what the rest of us can look at, but not much else.

After the debacle over the plagiarized speech he had written for his wife and then had her deliver, she was so obviously pissed and stayed out of sight. She continues to stay out of sight.

I think the marriage is in serious trouble and this was (to him) and inconsequential thing.

Meanwhile, Melania is getting angrier. But with the prenup, she knows she has to stay quiet or lose millions.
