I feel half paranoid and half right on this one. No matter what, it makes me worried. At least, this is something we should be discussing and considering - in other words, let's find out what is being done to absolutely prevent this from happening.

Russian hackers seem to be the best in the world. I am worried.

(11,481 posts)I've said for a while that this election could be decided by who has the better hackers, Trump or Clinton.
The only saving grace to these easily hackable voting machines is that it's getting to the point where it's affecting BOTH sides. That means that something MIGHT get done about it. Democrats make a big show about hacked and stolen elections while campaigning and then the issue disappears after they get elected. Probably because the current way things are done benefitted the ones who were elected in both parties.

(3,001 posts)I'm not as concerned about the individual machines themselves as I am about the central servers that tally of all of the results.
I just hope there are many cross checks in place that could inform us that something has gone wrong.
