ROTC Chairman Says Capt. Kahn's Father has been the Most Patriotic Person He Ever Knew

In the Charlottesville VA newspaper about Mr. Kahn's involvement with the U. of Virginia's ROTC program for many years. Capt. Kahn was a UVa ROTC grad.

The article quotes Tim Leroux, a retired Army officer who was chair of UVa's military science programs.

Excerpt:

"Leroux said Khan would volunteer to speak at every officer commissioning ceremony and distribute copies of the U.S. Constitution.

Leroux, who said the elder Khan is “by far the most patriotic guy” he’s ever met, was somewhat surprised to learn that Khan would speak at the convention. Noting his generally reserved demeanor and typically nonpartisan attitude, Leroux said he didn’t think Khan was “looking for a fight” with Trump.

“I think he displayed heroic tenacity,” Leroux said. “His willingness to do that is extraordinarily courageous, especially for a private guy.”
