That's what I worry about -- that the GOP won't be tarnished enough by the Trump debacle because, in the end, all they have to do is fire up their massive media empire with the message, "He wasn't really one of us anyway."

Then Chuck Todd and his talking heads all agreed emphatically that Obama's call would have the opposite effect of the right joining together in opposition.
