Scott Smith shared something he came across in Esquire this month: an email from Vice President Joe Biden very clearly explaining that making time for family is important. That his email came out during the time when he and his family were dealing with Beau Biden‘s cancer diagnosis makes it all the more powerful and touching.

Some corporations and individuals don’t value a healthy work/life balance. Biden’s email certainly stands in start contrast to, say, this:
