(29,673 posts)still watching, it came on an hour earlier than NBC, run hdmi line from my laptop to tv...works a treat...BBC will show most all of the events in real time, no commercials...you get the Brit commentary instead of NBC but I usually like it better....you can get a smart dns service from many companies, usually cheap and no contract...so sign up for a month to watch Olympics on BBC or Canadian Broadcasting or Australia,,,etc...

(2,886 posts)Here is a link with some info. (scroll past the service listings for some explanation). I use the one called Unlocator and have used it for over a year, works well for me. Most of these have free trials of a week or two.

I have set it up through my router and on individual devices so it can be used in other locations, work, airport, cafe etc....
