Damn.. NBC is just destroying the Olympics Opening Ceremony experience with all those damned ads...

It is rendering it unwatchable. For those of us without ginormous satellite tv or mega cable subscription packages, is there any alternative?

OK coming up after Micronesia which is next up after the S countries.

Hope NBC doesn't break for 6 minutes of commercials and miss our athletes.

I can't watch their coverage as it's so over the top focused on U.S. athletes and I find that more than a little off-putting, nor do I like how much we and a few other countries spend compared to the rest of the world.

NBC is getting an international feed being line-cut by a non-NBC director who is familiar with the show and it's various elements, and then inter-cutting that with their various nbc 'moments' - and sound is also more than likely coming from that same feed.

Might shatter their narrow little world. NBC is really trying to Anglicize these opening ceremonies.

Sad.

EDIT: oh nevermind they replayed the other countries after the commercial break
