Melania Trump is absolutely fair game!

They are hitting Bill Clinton (and not just on his policies) so they opened the door. Then she REALLY swung the door open when she insisted during her interview that she followed all laws and was here legally. That's like swinging the cape.

Karma baby. . . is fair. . .

Hillary's crushing it by taking the high road. Going after Melania over what's really a minor infraction at best gives up that ground and plays into stereotypes of Hillary that she's working hard to overcome. Let teh media do what it wants, but we need to be above it.

The hypocrisy needs to be pointed out - as many times and as often as possible.

But I agree that we can leave this primarily to the bottom-feeding media as it's about all they're good for. We should be working our tails off for Hillary and other Dems in November.

Then, if they fit the group you don't like, you dig and dig and dig. "Aha, this person *might* have done this 20 years ago, and if so it's important that we find out. After all, facts are facts."

It's not the facts, per se. It's the single-minded determination to dig up as much dirt and humiliate the person as much as possible based on hoping that "might" = "did."

She apparently had a photoshot in the US while here a tourist visa. For no pay. And working for no pay might constitute "working" and might be a violation of the visa requirements. Similarly, she might have been married before and that marriage, if it existed, might have been a sham marriage. At least a partisan lawyer who worked (meaning "works" as far as the news is concerned, what's past is present) for Trump remembers this green-card "fact" from over a decade ago, and speculates about what kind of visa she had.

http://www.stuff.co.nz/life-style/fashion/82844848/former-modeling-agent-says-he-got-melania-trumps-visa
Don't know if it's true.

But it's unlikely she got hitched and proved to ICE in just a few short years that she was really and truly married for years without there being any easily available records. Note that you don't need to be married to get a green card. The problem with immigration from some countries is that so many people want to immigrate that the marriage "thing" puts you close to the top of the list. Slovenians ... Not that numerous, and probably not the same incentive to migrate to the US as with lesser developed or fractured countries. It's small, and if you're going to leave Slovenija you're probably going to jump the border to Austria (where there's a "indigenous" Slovenian population or Germany. Probably not to Italy, given the rocky relations they had after WWII.

I learned that at a young age. I was bullied a lot as a child, and nothing worked to stop it. Not discussions with bullies parents, or both of my parents visiting the School Principal to request it be stopped. Even two of them getting sued for assault didn't end it. Police = Useless.

It ended when one day I just finally had enough and went into a rage after getting corned and attacked, nearly beating one of them to death. If others hadn't pulled me off, I might have succeeded in killing him. That ended years of pain and I only had one other encounter, during which I also opened a can of whoop-ass, and won that fight while my opponent lay on the road with a concussion.

Now I'm not calling for violence on the Trump front, but this guy loves to attack the family members of people who oppose him. It's time he feels what that is like!

The pukes are the political equivalent of a gang of schoolyard bullies. If you attempt to quiet a schoolyard bully by appealing to his better nature, it will never work because bullies have no better nature. He knows you're too scared to challenge him and he gets worse - EXACTLY what the Republicans have been doing since the 1980 election. If you get six or seven people together and beat the bully so badly it takes brain surgery to save his life, it solves the problem. This is what Hillary is doing with Trump, and it appears to be working.

Now it's time to so badly damage the GOP decent people couldn't live with themselves if they voted for any Republican.
