Sorry, I'm not jumping on the Melania married for a green card train until

I see a marriage license and the identity of her perhaps first husband is revealed. These are public records. If she was married prior to her union with the yammering yam, presumably she was also divorced.

How hard can it be to access such records?

of being puritanical saints. They ALL know by now about her 'pin up' pics. Nobody will believe otherwise, not anyone paying attention to current events.

At this point, the GOP can not stop the obvious lying and two faced shenanigans...oh did you hear Trump endorsed Ryan and McCain.

And yet Byrd was a long-time powerful Democratic Party leader for years after his KKK membership should have been an embarrassment.

He changed.

We're desperate enough to think that something the candidate's wife did 20 years ago says something important about what he now believes, or to hold him responsible for what he did in 2nd grade, when he was 7 or 8 (I assume).

Hell, I don't like being held responsible for what I did in college (which in my case--being the underachiever that I am--happened long after I was 7 or 8).

lies and then ignores anything that is of conflict to their mindset. Progressives on the other hand are open to ideas, so I think the desperation is on just one side at this point.

If Trump had ANY ability to lead, them maybe but he cannot even do that. Right now he is conning his donors out of money! SCAMMING his base in daylight!

Again, I could care less about her...the GOP showed their hypocrisy decades ago with an avalanche of disasters and scandals - volumes of criminal activity. Ford pardoning criminal Nixon etc..

Late to the dance, but if people want to talk about her being a liar then they have proof right there in black and white.

There is no law saying the marriage has to take place in the US
If the marriage took place overseas to US citizen, records may not be that easily available....especially pre-computer days...
