10. It's looking like the House is in reach too.

Of course the Republicans will probably win it all back in two years. They always do. Let's just hope Hillary Clinton gets to work faster with her 18 month presidency than Bill Clinton and Barack Obama did with their respective year-and-a-half's of actual legislative action.

3. the epitome of the emperor's new clothes
Tue Aug 9, 2016, 12:49 AM

A vain Emperor who cares about nothing except wearing and displaying clothes hires two weavers who promise him the finest, best suit of clothes from a fabric invisible

to anyone who is unfit for his position or "hopelessly stupid". The Emperor's ministers cannot see the clothes themselves, but pretend that they can for fear of appearing

unfit for their positions and the Emperor does the same. Finally the weavers report that the suit is finished, they mime dressing him and the Emperor marches in

procession before his subjects. The townsfolk play along with the pretense, not wanting to appear unfit for their positions or stupid. Then a child in the crowd, too young

to understand the desirability of keeping up the pretense, blurts out that the Emperor is wearing nothing at all and the cry is taken up by others. The Emperor suspects

the assertion is true, but continues the procession.

6. The GOP is sneaky. It's never a good time to relax until all votes are cast and accounted for.

The GOP is a group full of lying, cheating, filthy rich and powerful freaks.
Trump is the face of what they've been trying to hide.
But they are still in this race.

embarrassing to Sec. Clinton.

ISIS still has several months to pull off something horrible in the US.
Putin would rather see The Donald in the White House.

The headline over at the US News and World Report website right now is is a devastating opinion piece by Pat Garofalo, their Assistant Managing Editor, entitled "Trump's Economic Hustle."

Oh I just saw the new NH senate poll Hassan leading by 10 points WBUR , also duckworth and feingokd way up , I don't think we get FL , we will probably keep NV , we definitely keep CO , and if we get PA which I think we will and of course HRC becomes Pres which in pretty sure as long as we GOTV then there's the majority however I think we get at least 1 more seat

lost votes down ballot? Interesting. Unfortunately, think what Turtle says has some merit - that some senate races so big they stand alone.

Last I looked, bummer that House probably out of reach.
