Another old billionaire (or his handlers) exercises his Free Speech/Discount Tires supports ARPAIO

It's just that their cash bores them since the material things come so easy, but they're convinced they can do anything they want so they need the power of the unknown in new games. Perhaps what lures the billionaire is that ARPAIO has gotten personal power without the billions.

Latin American Art Collector Bruce Halle's Phoenix-Area Discount Tire Stores Post Pro-Arpaio Signs

Community outcry came swiftly from both politically engaged groups and the arts community. Not only is Discount Tire one of Arizona's most profitable businesses, it's also owned by Paradise Valley billionaire Bruce Halle, one of the state's most prominent forces in the arts.

Halle is one of the world's richest men, according to Forbes Magazine, which puts his current worth at $8.5 billion. The 86-year-old and his wife, Diane, are significant supporters of Phoenix Art Museum, having donated substantial sums of money as well as art to the museum. ....

But it's not a joke. New Times stopped by Discount Tire stores in Mesa, Tempe, and Scottsdale last week and confirmed the signs were posted. In every case, employees told New Times the corporate office gave the order. ....

“I’m already thinking about how this will make it into my art,” (local artist, Annie) Lopez says of the Discount Tire issue. “The things that hurt me the most always make it into my art.”

I'll never be a customer of theirs again.

Now I'm off to find an email I got from them a couple of months ago to answer a survey.

I always buy coopers because their made in Ohio, so far.

They shipped them free and gave me a $80.00 visa card.

Didn't know the owner was a winger.

Obviously, they're a dishonest organization that needs to have their rulers arrested.
