If the norm of your neighborhood is daily shootings it's not exactly "news". They might as well write "Mainstreet still paved with asphalt"

Every night on the news there are more dead, so sad.

As well as the Board of Tourism.

Hopefully they'll figure out a way to deal with them.

Freedman suggested a different conclusion, though. Moral decay resulted “not from density, but from excessive social interaction,” Ramsden explained. “Not all of Calhoun’s rats had gone berserk. Those who managed to control space led relatively normal lives.” Striking the right balance between privacy and community, Freedman argued, would reduce social pathology. It was the unwanted unavoidable social interaction that drove even fairly social creatures mad, he believed.

They should be cracking down on the gangs in these problem areas, shake every one of them down, search cars, serve warrants in their houses and apartments. Surely the gang units know who the players are and where they live.
