'Trump is underperforming so comprehensively...it would take video evidence of a smiling Hillary drowning a litter of puppies while terrorists surrounded her with chants of Death to America,' said an Iowa Republican.

Republican insiders are more convinced than Democrats that Donald Trump is so far behind Hillary Clinton that he can't win in November.
Roughly half of Republican members of The POLITICO Caucus activists, strategists and operatives in 11 swing states believe that Trumps path to 270 electoral votes is basically shut off after another week in which the GOP nominee appears to have ceded ground in national and most battleground state polls.
Democrats, however, arent breaking out the champagne just yet. Seventy-two percent of Democratic insiders said despite Clintons clear advantage at this stage of the race, the presidential election isnt effectively over.
Democrats cited the unpredictability of the 2016 campaign, along with some of Clintons own weaknesses, for their bridled optimism. Its a message that fits neatly with what party leaders are saying publicly and behind closed doors: Dont get too cocky, even with Clinton well ahead of Trump in the polls.

(9,288 posts)Dump's chances of winning are practically non-existent but so long as there is a 0.0000000000000000000000000000000000001% chance of him winning I say don't risk it.
We should pound him and his party without the slightest bit of mercy and just keep on piling on the pressure until every single republican realizes that he has no chance and then jumps ship for Hillary, the Libertarians, or some other independent or third party.
He needs to lose so bad that he finishes 3rd or lower. He needs to lose so bad we regain the house and senate. So badly that he loses all 50 states! So badly that he is a complete political pariah! So badly Mitt Romney makes jokes about how bad of a campaign he ran.
Show that bigoted overgrown umpa lumpa No mercy!

They're owned by the blind, the lame, the bigots, and the clueless. Not great bosses to have.
