What the hell am I mising here? I'm watching Morning Joe (i know, I know)

and they're all saying that Don the Con is preventing legitimate criticism of Obama & Clinton for creating the environment that allowed ISIL to thrive by pulling troops out of Iraq in 2011.

I thought that President Obama was honoring an agreement that Bush the Lesser made, and that if he ignored it he would be in violation of an international agreement. So why is it HIS fault and not Bush the Lesser's?!?

I should probably just stop watching MSNBC, because I have heard this argument brought up on other shows, too.

There are so many kings listed and so often hae the same first name that many had "The greater" nad "The lesser." It was perfect for shrub so I used it on here back in the day.

Nice to see it stuck around. When something fits, it sticks.

We had an agreement that our troops could not be tried in Iraqi courts for killing people. As US soldiers and contractors killed lots of civilians (collateral murder is the phrase our military used for it I think). Iraqi politicians got heavy political pressure to punish American soldiers. Therefore Iraqi president Malarkey refused to extend our free kill rights and Bush refused to leave our soldier contractors at risk of Iraqi justice. So they signed the agreement that we would leave on a certain date. Iraqi politicians are there to steal as much money as humanly possible and they were not going to permit our soldiers to turn the Iraqi population against them. We had no choice but to leave since American voters would go ape shit if one of our murderers had to face punishment.
