Be cautious with Hillary's recent surging in battleground states.

It's still early. Very early. And the public has a very short memory. In two weeks, all of these Trump fuck-ups will have simmered down and his numbers will begin rising again be default.

We'd need weekly fuck-ups like this until the election. And, I am certain that the Republicans have at least one October surprise waiting in the wings.

All Trump has to do is become more civil about two weeks before the election, and the negative effects of all of the past nonsense will melt away and he'll be a threat again.

I know that it seems there isn't much about Hillary that isn't already known because she's been under attack for so long and everything that could possibly come out has come out.

But, don't underestimate those snake Republicans. They're desperate. Even if they lose, they'll characterize the election as rigged and will treat Hillary as illegitimate - like they do Obama.

I don't see a happy end to any of this, no matter who wins.

Only to be replaced with brand new fuck-ups.

4. I want the polls to change to likely voters instead of registered voters

That will give us a true sense where things are. The registered voters are not as reliable as likely voters.

I've seen several on the TV box that had "Likely Voters" on the graphic.

We're getting there. Complacency is our biggest enemy now.

5. Yeah, Trump's nothing if not prolific with his fuck-ups

But I agree with the original post. After what to Republicans must seem a successful six years of near-total obstruction, they won't have any compunction about continuing their tactics of delay, denial, and de-legitimization. The only way this changes is to put them in the minority in both houses of Congress and decline to listen to their whining and puling about being denied a place at the table. You ran the place for six years and didn't do squat-ah; sit down, shut up, and let the grown ups take over.

Look what the Republicans have been allowed to do to the country, over these last five or so decades...

9. It's a misdirection that implies that D voters aren't supportive of Hillary

unless voting for her avoids a disaster. It's a meme that takes our focus off the historic possibilty presented in this election to take back the Congress and gets us to obsess about not falling off Square One.

It's exactly what the Rs hope we obsess about, which is why it's not a good idea. It's bullshit.

10. It's not bullshit. Or else the history of the last half-century would be much much different. nt
