(2,674 posts)Not sure when Texas started having early voting but it was a long time ago here in Dallas and is held for all elections, local, state, national, run-offs. Usually runs for about 14 days, including Saturday and Sunday, early voting locations vary depending on what type of election it is. We try to vote early if we can, less people, less hassle.

Besides presidential election we have district 2 house reps race, local state house/senate race and some really great referendum questions this Nov. I favor all 6 of the questions. It will be exciting to see the results.

Not sure when the early voting starts. I think some time in October. State/city websites don't appear to be updated with that info yet. Usually that info comes out in September.
