Trump: If Clinton wins Pennsylvania, she cheated

(CNN)Donald Trump declared Friday that there's only one way he could lose the state of Pennsylvania: if he's cheated out of it.

"We're going to watch Pennsylvania. Go down to certain areas and watch and study and make sure other people don't come in and vote five times," he said at a rally in Altoona, Pennsylvania. "If you do that, we're not going to lose. The only way we can lose, in my opinion -- I really mean this, Pennsylvania -- is if cheating goes on."

Trump said that Republican leaders in the state "are very concerned" about the possibility of cheating -- adding that "we have to call up law enforcement, and we have to have the sheriffs and the police chiefs and everybody watching."

Hillary Clinton's lead in the polls in Pennsylvania is solid -- a Quinnipiac survey of likely voters released Tuesday found Clinton leading Trump 52% to 42%. But both candidates are devoting significant resources to the state, which has a base of working class voters that Trump's campaign hopes could work in his favor.

This is irrational, erratic, and bizarre behavior.

For the party leadership to allow this to go on is an abomination.

All this is setting up his supporters to rise up when he loses. He knows he is going down in flames, he just plans on taking the nation with him.

The second amendment comments combined with its rigged rhetoric are all his deranged way of lighting the match for a very violent America following the election.

Other than maintaining order at polling places I suppose. This sounds like a shout-out to the constitutional sheriffs association. Scary!

Nothing but trouble will result.

He will whine and cry about the debates until he gets conservative moderators and will still bitch that he got a raw deal. He will pack his nutball "fans" into the audience, screaming and hollering over his moronic "answers" and even worse if they think he got an unfair question.

Then when he loses the election he will have his low flow followers all het up to riot.

God, what has that hideous party wrought??

Trump is a lying loser. He's just trying to lay down a smokescreen to cover his losses.

That's a tall order for any Republican. The last time Pennsylvania voted for a Republican presidential candidate was in 1988, when George H.W. Bush defeated Democrat Michael Dukakis on his way to the White House. Since then, the state has been increasingly seen as fool's gold for Republicans.

A series of Democratic presidential candidates — Bill Clinton, Al Gore, John Kerry and Barack Obama — won the state by turning out voters in Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and the increasingly Democratic Philadelphia suburbs, which were a one-time Republican stronghold.

8. In 2012 quite a few precincts in Philly had zero Romney votes. Fraud?

Not that many urban blacks voted Romney. It is impossible to remove votes from the Philly voting machines. You could add votes - but it is impossible, given their construction to remove votes. And they generate a paper tape with every vote too which is audited and matched to the machine totals. Papers went to the district's looking for possible Republican voters but not one was found. Why didn't a Trump voter come forward and say - hey I'm in that precinct and voted Trump? They could not find the three Republicans listed for one residence and neighbors said they had never seen anyone there. They probably moved. And the one other registered Republican said that was an error, that he wasn't a Republican. So the Republican claim that zero Romney votes was impossible is in error. There are many precincts in the U.S. with zero votes for one of the candidates. But Trump is hinting that shifty Negroes in "certain districts" will steal the election. Trump is willing to damage faith in our democracy just to have an excuse for what he knows is coming - total Trump disgrace at the polls.
