WATCH: Squirrel steals GoPro, climbs tree (please fasten your seat belt)

I will not be around for the next 24-36 hours or so. New A/C goes in tomorrow. Enjoy this while I'm gone.

This squirrel has a future in videography ahead of it.

One curious squirrel got its hands on a GoPro, producing a now-viral video. The footage gives us a squirrel’s-eye view of the animal climbing a tree.

The video, posted by YouTube user Viva Frei on Sunday, has already racked up more than 75,000 views.

For a squirrel, GoPros are a little bulky.

There are other videos of squirrels taking cameras, and that seems to have been the intent here. I'd guess there was some experimentation on how to make the camera attractive and portable for squirrels.
