We are in Canada

I've spoken with many here in BC and the Yukon. It's been a great trip so far.
When the subject of healthcare comes up I tell them I envy their single payer situation. When I tell them my wife and I pay $625 per month with $70 copays they can't believe it. Then the kicker is I tell them it's a $1,300 plan retail which we get help with under Covered California.

Their jaws drop.
They ask about dental and vision coverage and I tell them...nope.
Whatever complaints they may have vanish at that point. A couple we met pay $125 per month. Everything is covered.

I love that typical comeback. Usually from repugs and dinos.
