Play-Doh

The Governor of Louisiana warned Donald Trump not to visit the flooded disaster area of the state if he was only coming for a photo op, which would have created a traffic jam and diverted law enforcement away from helping with the recovery effort. So instead Trump showed up with a small truck of supplies and proceeded to spend a total of forty-nine seconds handing out those supplies before giving up and leaving. Worse, the “supplies” he handed out to flood victims were cartons of Play-Doh. No, seriously.

2. Was the Play Doh what Trump contributed?

Or was he just helping in the onerous labor of unloading that Play Doh that someone else donated? Like maybe the company that makes Play Doh. Why were all those strapping men unloading those tiny boxes of Play Doh anyway? Weren't they needed elsewhere? Or maybe they were slackers, jumping into an easy job to avoid the real work of shoveling sewage out of people's houses. And why didn't Donald Trump shovel some of that shit? We know he's good at it.

Does anybody know what was in the 18 wheeler that Trump donated? I wish to god it would be Play Doh but that would be too good to be true.

to learn that he might have helped unload some stuff that might actually have helped those poor people.

You know, when I have a natural disaster at my house that requires a lot of heavy lifting, a 70 year old overweight man with tiny hands is exactly the help I'm going to call for. Him and Play Doh--it's got to be good for something, right?

Deep South in August you are going to have sweat stains fairly fast with any physical labor.

accustomed to climate control wherever he goes really did sacrifice on behalf of those poor Play Doh deprived flood victims.

Hey--there's his response to all those mean people who tell him he's never sacrificed anything for his country. "I unloaded many, many crates of Play Doh--and a lot of people say they've never seen such extraordinarily superb handling of boxes--while wearing my favorite Briony suit, which, as you know, is the flagship of excellence in menswear, really really quality, and now my favorite suit is ruined because it was so hot down there. Many people are saying it was the hottest day ever recorded in the history of the United States, maybe the world. And there was my Briony--I gave it to a very excellent African American just before I took off in my plane. He may not have a job, but he's going to look good."

11. Play-doh is a symbol. When in New Orleans, which is mostly under sea-level, I saw outdated levees

Ordinances and logic in New Orleans cause people to carry flood insurance. In other parts of Louisiana and Texas, most victims will not be reimbursed for losses, because flood insurance is not required on property these people must continue to pay a bank or mortgage company for, or face bankruptcy. Trump is known to personally capitalize on loses, like those, which are occurring in affected areas.

Maybe Trump is planning to use play-doh to build levees in Louisiana and Texas. In fact, Trump should have brought money, instead of causing first-responders - like local police - to protect him, instead of area homes and businesses, which are being looted. Because floods are rare in most areas hit by the natural disaster, very few of the victims had flood insurance.
