Now aren't you glad Edwards is the LA Gov. and not David Vitter?

Yes, Edwards is more pro-gun than most folks here and anti-abortion, but he covered for Obama by asking him not to come to his state while the first responders were still working.

Had it been Governor Vitter, he would have been on tv round the clock badmouthing Obama, badmouthing FEMA and praising Donald Trump effusively.

kinda listened. In less than 4 hours he toured the area, had a meeting with Tony Perkins, unloaded a box of a truck (that was 49 seconds) and visited a church. then *poof* all gone. But it was not, I repeat, it was not a photo op.

Now factor in this. My area suffered a major flood. It took forever to drive anywhere, at all. I did not lose power or water so my sis would come over every day to take a shower, do laundry and eat dinner. What should have been at most 25 minute drive took her over an hour. What I am saying is, most of the time he spent there was driving and gawking at the damage form his car.
