I agree that The Republican Party has spent the last 50 years trying to scare the hell out of the American people and making them hate "The Other."

I disagree that The Democratic Party has consistenly opposed them by selling hope and a postive vision of what we can become.

The Democratic Party often embraces slogans about hope. But their campaign strategy? Their single most prevalent campaign talking point is about how we should hate and fear "the other" and get in line to cast what, for so many, is a lesser evil vote.

It happens every four years. It's happening now.

There are not too many people who would want to see an impulsive, irrational man having immediate access to the nuclear codes. There are not too many people who would want a president who ignores the United States constitution. There are "not too many" who will want to see Trump in the WH. Therefore, no matter how unpopular Clinton may be, she'll get the votes AGAINST Trump. Because people hate and fear him. People will be lining up to vote for Clinton because they hate and fear "the other."
