Mexican population is light, and undocumented is much more rare.

When my redneck friends complain that we need a wall to keep all these Mexicans out, I ask if maybe they're confusing them with Amish. I point out that there's usually a bunch of men with straw hats piled into a van on their way to a construction site, so I can see how they were mistaken.

Then I usually go into a hate filled rant about how they don't pay taxes and still use our roads and how we should send them back to Denmark -"or where ever the fuck they come from". I get more and more disdainful until the friend begins defending them. After that I start on all the Chinese restaurants. No town is too small to have at least one and I've never gone to one that had "Americans" cooking. They can't be here legally so lets build a great wall in China.

It kinda turns the whole thing around on them.

I'm saying that these nasty women can't possibly not know a mexican. I would never want to deport my friend. She's stood by me for 24 years.

Um, it's not just immigrants who do that work.

It's also not just immigrants who mow lawns, cashier at grocery stores and harvest crops.

And many immigrants are also employed in higher career paying jobs.
