and without street food, there's no street life except a few drunks screaming at the traffic.

I'm all for bringing street food back, in trucks or in stalls. Commercial kitchens don't ensure there will be no outbreaks of food borne illnesses, so it's time to stop insisting Mom & Pop food stalls have them.

They've been operating next to the Mariani Nut Company in Winters, Calif, for decades and consistently get rave reviews and awards from all the regional publications; it's become an institution.

Recently, they upgraded to a new truck as the old original one, a retired roach coach, was pretty beat up before it even arrived. A visit to a taco truck is not usually considered a destination event, but this one totally is. Their five taco dish is da bomb!
