I do tech repair for a living and I do service calls.
The other day one of my customers got a new TV and wanted me to hook it up for him. So I went and got everything connected and the remotes all sorted and bid him good day.
A couple of days later I got a call from him saying he was having trouble and could I come and help. So I get there and walk in and he says he thinks the TV is broke because he can't get audio on some stations. This is a brand new high end TV so right away I figure it is probably user error. So I sit in front of the TV and turn it on and the audio seems fine so I ask him are there certain stations that the audio does not work on?
He proceeds to tell me yea FOX NEWS. I couldn't help myself and I started laughing. Only FOX? heh
Maybe the tv is trying to tell you something. God was it hard to fix that damn problem. Super easy but oh so hard. Was so tempting to tell him I couldn't figure out what was going on. He of course had muted the audio for that station while futzing with the settings. It would have been so easy to say I couldn't figure it out.
Sometimes being the Tech guy is hard...
