His handlers made sure he never spoke unscripted to the press and even at that it was obvious the lights were on, but nobody was home. He forgot the names of his own cabinet members. He couldn't even recognize the only black man on his cabinet at a meeting. He toasted the people of Bolivia at a state dinner in Brazil. He told a fake story about the Medal of Honor to a group of real Medal of Honor recipients.

The press sure covered that up! We were slowly losing my grandmother to Alzheimer's at the same time, and with my parent's experience with the symptoms, they talked about how they believed Reagan had it during his second term.

But, oh goodness, if she has anything go slightly wrong to show humanity, NOPE, can't elect her! It's sexism mostly, and their fascist tendencies anyhow, that they direct at Dems. Which is why we see so many Dems have their yards signs stolen, property damaged, or worse!
