Hillary can fix the system!

For Hillary I think she can't brand herself as the change candidate. I totally believe that she can create positive change for our country and continue the good work of President Obama.
However, I think people totally can see her as someone that fixes things and mends things. She's not going to blow up the system and rewrite the rules, but she's can FIX the glitches in the system.

Hillary can certainly create positive change, but I doubt she fixes the system. I doubt anyone can.

at all levels of this year's election. And a lot of the Republican candidates too. They are so tied to the system and it has worked so well for THEM, that they don't see any need to "fix" the system. At best, they honestly (?) believe that all it needs are tweaks. That's why they resist even calling for wholesale FDR type changes. IOW, they are wedded to the Reagan, neo-liberal mindset that we've been under the spell of for the last 35 years.

And of course part of that is probably that a lot of Democrats don't see the need for any wholesale change. That leaves a LOT of people out of the Democrat/Republican consensus of "tweaks only". And there's a LOT of folks out there who think there needs to be a radical change. They might not agree on which direction that change should go, but they do agree that neither the Democratic or Republican candidates represent what they think the country needs, whatever that change happens to be. That's why this election is so volatile. You have a larger than average percentage of folks who feel unrepresented.
