Trump's Image of Certainty Is a Mirage and Character Matters!!

Donald J. Trump has been underestimated from day one because he has been "playing" everyone from day one.

He demagogues, flip-flops, lies pathologically, and is a narcissistic master manipulator.

Q) Why does Trump NOT just simply apologize (for anything at all)?
A) Simple. He's a narcissist, and it doesn't fit his psychological makeup.

There's one thing that will never change about Trump, he'll never put himself in a position to have to apologize.
If others want an apology, they will simply have to demand he apologize. Even that may not evoke an apology.

Why?

Because that would shatter his image of certainty.
Instead he's dismissive, or he pivots and shifts the conversation to something else entirely.

Let's examine just a couple Trump Flip-Flops:

1) Teleprompters / Prepared Statements:

then: He disparaged others for using teleprompters
later: He both reads prepared statements and uses teleprompters

2) Birtherism / Birth Certificate:

then: He disparaged the president with birtherism
later: He says the president was born in America

1) Trump read, from a piece of paper, the following prepared statement:

"President Barack Obama was born in the United States period. Now we all want to get back to making America great again."

Really, that's all he thinks it takes, is he serious?! That's simply NOT the standard he demands of others!

2) Some time ago, Trump said, "Maybe I will show my tax returns when president obama shows his birth certificate."

Well, president Obama has shown his birth certificate, and Trump has still not released his tax returns!
