Jimmy Fallon under fire for 'humanizing' Trump

http://www.sfgate.com/politics/article/Donald-Trump-Jimmy-Fallon-hair-messed-up-video-9227056.php

The affable Jimmy Fallon has come under fire for "humanizing" Donald Trump.

The "Tonight Show" host created a light-hearted moment with the GOP presidential candidate as he messed up his infamous hair on Thursday night. The two men traded laughs as Trump's Cheetos-colored mane flew around wildly, and in general the entire interview was friendly and full of chuckles.

Trump opponents are saying Fallon created a promotional puff piece for Trump, and instead should have used the opportunity to ask hard-nosed questions.

"Throughout the interview, Fallon was predictably non-confrontational and willing to work with whatever Trump gave him," writes Maxwell Strachan in a story for the Huffington Post. "When Trump made a joke about fearing what people might do to his hamburgers if they know it's him before he orders, Fallon leaned back in his chair and let out a disproportionately large laugh relative to the funniness of the joke. Was it really that funny? No, it was not."

It didn't come off?!

that said, it was disgusting to see him participate whole hog in the lovable DT's normalization project

THAT said, it was no more galling (to the typical repub geeb) than Kimmel's soft treatment of Hillary

nobody on late night is going to go after either candidate in person

I always thought Seth was a rather weak comedian, but he has his moments. Lately though he has been on the attack toward Trump and I would bet the rent that Trump wouldn't step fiot on Seth's show.

combined efforts of handling Trump with kid gloves have helped normalize white supremacy, sexism, xenophobia, etc., etc. It is beyond shameful. Words do not exist in the English language to accurately reflect my complete disgust.

In the future, these same media figures will try to rewrite the history of their complicity the way they did with the Iraq War run-up. We cannot let them.

Jimmy Fallon can go eat dirt.

Jimmy Fallon greets Clinton with medical mask

"Tonight Show" host Jimmy Fallon greeted Hillary Clinton at an interview taping on Friday by donning a medical mask after the Democratic nominee took a break from the campaign to recover from pneumonia.

Clinton gave the late-night host a high five.

Clinton's campaign revealed on Sunday that she had been diagnosed with pneumonia a few days earlier. And video of her seeming to nearly faint as she tried to get into a van after a 9/11 memorial didn't help the conspiracy theories swirling about her health.

Donald Trump appeared on Fallon's show Thursday night. Clinton's interview is set to air Monday.
