(29,205 posts)recreates the western front of WWI with piles of mattresses formed into trenches and has people dressed as dough boys "going over the top" only to be mowed down by a nerf machine gun and pretend to die at the bottom of the trench...
I will certainly be outraged and write a Letter to the Editor of the local newspaper and suggest a boycott of such a tasteless commercial.

(111,276 posts)So many of them have a hodgepodge of crap and I can see people saying "Yeah, let's buy Mom a new mop! That'll make her day!"
But yeah, using every holiday to boost retail sales has gotten way out of hand. Some holidays are not meant to be celebratory.
