it only works as well as it does because his host (the media in particular) has certain weaknesses that this behavior exploits.

most notably, with very rare exceptions, the media refuses to call out lies, preferring the he said / she said angle. trump's frequent and outrageous lies exploits that weakness.

our media is sick.
