A question for prospective police officers, not asked by interview boards.

If you know that, accepting a position as a police officer, you will be required to kill someone. Not that the possibility exists, but that you WILL take a human life. If you refuse the position you will not kill another human. Do you accept the job and if so, why? Interview boards ask the question in a form that excuses the use of deadly force.
