I have almost lost faith in America.

I have always believed that when all other options had expired, the American people would do the right thing.

With this upcoming election, I am having more doubts than at any other time in my life.

Some people, in the media, in big business, and in the government, have so divided this nation that it is very difficult for the average person to determine what is truth and what is fiction? What is reality and what is "make-believe"?

But, at this time, I will continue to cling to my last ribbon of faith until this election is over. I have always been an optimistic person.

I will continue to believe that the American people will do the right thing - when they are called to vote on what is best for our country? The agenda of Donald Trump or the agenda of Hillary Clinton and the Democrats?

It is a challenging time for America. What will our country look like if Donald Trump is elected? What will our country look like after Clinton is elected?

I think the seeds of dissension have already been sown.

Keep the faith.

I AM sorry you feel this way. Me, I'm inspired and ecstatic at the thought of a Hillary Clinton presidency, and terrified of a Trump one. I doubt he'll win, the point being he's actually running as a serious candidate in the first place.

There have always been nests of haters, racists and authoritarian assholes. They've always been living in the woodwork. They've come out of hiding because of Donald Trump and the influence of the internet, but they are nothing new. The good thing is that most people aren't like that - maybe there are just enough decent folks to keep the haters from taking over, but enough anyhow. I don't know if it will ever change. I don't know what Trump's orcs and flying monkeys will do when he loses, but my guess is that they'll try to stir up trouble for awhile and finally crawl back into the woodwork. They won't go away but they can be kept out of power.

Be that the media mouth pieces or the next to worthless Congress. I long ago quit expecting Obama to do everything.

Enough slobbering, knuckle dragging, mouth breathers voted for Boy george to let him steal the Presidency. And when they let it happen a 2nd time, I pretty much knew we, as a Country, were doomed. Just a matter of time til we quit circling the drain and go right down the crapper.

It's happened throughout the history of our Republic, and yes it can be pretty scary to live through -- when society undergoes such rapid and radical changes as we have seen for the last couple decades, institutions and ideologies always take a while to catch up. Meanwhile, those tethered to the dying ideology act out of fear and self-preservation, and it can get pretty ugly, hence the Cheeto-hued Turd Emperor.

Remember, in the words of MLK, jr., "The arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice." Although it may sometimes feel like we are moving backwards, we all have to strive to keep that arc moving in the right direction.

Just my H.O.

If you can survive the swelling, the fever, the various secondary infections, the buboes will pop, black puss will be shed. And you'll be fine.
We'll see if the american body has enough life, strength and resilience to survive.
