Debate watch parties in Chicago - near Magnificent Mile

Mods: please move if in the wrong forum.

I'm in Chicago for a conference and I'm staying around the Magnificent Mile area. Where can I watch the debate among fellow like-minded liberals/democrats and imbibe/eat?

I would like to stay local and not need to Uber/Lyft/cab elsewhere.

Thanks!

there's a debate watch party (well, there's lots of them, but most are too far from your digs) nearby at 1000 N. Lakeshore Plaza, which is near LSD just north of Oak Street ... an easy walk from anywhere on the Mag Mile. They're apparently asking for you to make a donation on the website, and you can RSVP for the event by going to the "More" header up top and going to "events." Note: this looks like a pretty fancy address, but I'm sure the people are nice and would welcome you.

Alternately, try one of the restaurants or bars nearby. I think Bar Toma (110 E. Pearson, just off Michigan Ave.) has TVs at the bar, and the food and drink is really good (pizzas, Italian dishes, but not too expensive). http://www.bartomachicago.com/menus/
