The DU Lester Holt thread

Agree/disagree. Add.

The topics were brutal for Trump - taxes, race - birtherism, cyber, called him on Iraq, women.
Lester let him go which a lot of people here joked about just letting Trump have a bigger shovel
The way Trump treated Lester will NOT go well in the African-American community. At all.

The right hates NBC anyway but the knives will be out for Lester in their world. Full blown victimization and attack on Holt.

He let Trump talk about anything he wanted to for as long as he wanted to. Trump cut off Holt more than Holt cut off Trump

Trump looked like a blithering, babbling unhinged idiot. Hillary seemed to be enjoying watching Rump punch himself out. The "Call Sean Hannity" part was especially mindnumbing.

I don't dislike him. I generally walk away when Andrea "some say" Mitchell comes on, but I don't get a bad vibe from him. I felt he had no control of tonight's debate, but dealing with Donald is like herding cats. Lester looked ineffective.

I did like the way he did on-the-spot fact checking, and man, Donald doesn't know there's a thing called "Google."

Lester Holt allowed Trump to bully him. Trump paid no attention to him, treated him with disrespect, filibustered his answers way past his allotted time, interrupted Clinton, and Holt did nothing.

It was near the end of the debate when Trump was rambling again and Holt moved to reign in Trump. Very bad behavior by Trump who lost it too many times during the 90 minutes.
