that's when I first noticed a subtle shift, the debate and his crazy shit with Miss Universe sealed it.

he is. Finally!

That's what I hoped would happen after the debate, when no one (except his idiot supporters) could any longer deny how weird Trump is, or keep up the fiction that he can be changed or controlled.

as an actual candidate. Not a tv star who got caught on camera misbehaving.

I'm on a crappy phone, so I don't wanna type all those alphabets; but you know, the guys competing for Pulitzers with the deep dig on Trump and the foundation.

7. I've been wondering if they will do what they've done the last 2 elections

When Palin hit the stage, they couldn't say enough about how wonderful she was, "refreshing", "soccer mom" etc. Despite her showing how really awful she was, the MSM continued to keep her relevant in a positive light. Then about this time, the coverage began to change. Same with Romney. He and Ann were a lovely, golden couple to take over the White House. All the MSM needed was one thing to surface (the 47%) and they were able to turn the coverage around.

So I've been wondering when the MSM would do it with Trump. They can take this guy down in a week if they wanted. There is so much dirt, corruption, lies, personal testimonials from people who've been shit on by Trump, they would have no problem bombarding the public with it all. But like so many have said, the horse race is what they need for ratings and that's how they covered this.

They know the trainwreck he is. So maybe this is the turning point. Switch the coverage from relevant to disaster to begin taking him down. I hope, I really hope.

They're sick of his shit and not gonna try to prop him up any more. There's no way to defend the indefensible and they aren't gonna do it.

We are moving from Horse Race coverage to Train Wreck coverage.

I read for awhile then posted so I'm sorry I didn't read what you said.

But I hope you're right. This coverage of him making him seem normal has got to stop. It's unfortunate the media has that much power. I think they know it. But if they do, they really need to do the right thing.

IMHO They are so terrified of being accused of "liberal bias" that they overcompensate.

But things have gotten too real, they cant pretend he's a credible candidate anymore, and they don't want to either.

Same thing happened w McCain and Romney. They got tired of their bullshit one day and said enough is enough. Romney's 47% comment. McCains 'fundamentals of the economy are strong' statement the day after the financial collapse.

It's either that or his continued stiffing of the media. It began, afaik, with banning certain reporters from his rallies. Then came the bate-and-switch "presser" that was actually a hotel infomercial. Money is usually the answer, but put these two together...?

They spun the hell out of the crap that came spewing out of the Dubya Whitehouse, but that crap pales in comparison to the crap that spews out of Trump. Perhaps they just threw their hands up and said "We got nothin' to work with here."
