Strike 2014. This is 2016 and we are rising. Fear us! We are strong. We are the women of THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. We come in an array of colors and shapes. We are half this country. Tread lightly GOP with your misogynist candidate. We vote and we vote in huge numbers.
Freedom is not just another word. It is us and we are free.

Witness the prologue!
I couldn't show up for it, but I could not have been more proud of fellow Michiganders.

I got him literally on post 1 of his career, and him dead now. Wow, what a page of hate-filled alt-right woman-hating militaristic assholery that was, making claims for the Constitution that never ever existed in real life or history. Clearly you and I don't know our places as women -- our military is the reason we have voting privileges at all, and if we continue to abuse those privileges the military will see they are taken away.
I'm real skeered, you can tell.
sheshe2
(83,898 posts)We should all cower to his militaristic superiority? Perhaps we should just bow down and kiss their buttock. Not.
Ouch, they are not even in touch with the ConStiTution? The poster child to all that is wrong with America.

Xipe Totec
(43,890 posts)A black swan is an event or occurrence that deviates beyond what is normally expected of a situation and is extremely difficult to predict; the term was popularized by Nassim Nicholas Taleb, a finance professor, writer and former Wall Street trader. Black swan events are typically random and are unexpected.

It would be awesome if women's vote turned out to be that black swan event for the demise of the Republican Party.

(15,552 posts)Don't women usually outnumber men in the voting booth too? I think that at one time I read that 51% of the voters are women. I actually hope it's more than that this time around.

(24,605 posts)The problem for the GOP is that they are accustomed to women who do as they are told, including voting as they are told. Could be in for quite a surprise this year!! Donald went off the rails and may take the whole train with him.

Because no one viciously hates and abuses women more than black males.
