Minor damage to coastal roads. We're getting more rain from the system now than during our warnings.
Thanks for all the good wishes

22. Trump National Doral Miami

Oct 2016

Description[edit]
The resort consists of 800 acres.[1] Prior to its renovation, the club was reported to feature "four golf courses; 700 hotel rooms across 10 lodges; more than 86,000 square feet of meeting space, including a 25,000-square-foot ballroom; a 50,000-square-foot spa with 33 treatment rooms; six food and beverage outlets; extensive retail; and a private members' clubhouse."[2]

History[edit]
Trump National Doral Miami, formerly known as the Doral Country Club and Doral Golf Resort & Spa, was the sister hotel to the famous Doral Hotel on the ocean in Miami Beach, Florida.

At the peak of the housing market, a real estate fund had acquired the property.[2] The property was then purchased, along with other resorts, by Paulson & Co.[2] Around 2010, the Pritikin Longevity Center moved into the spa area of the Doral resort.[3] In early 2011, Doral went into bankruptcy, with Paulson seeking Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection for the property.[2]

In February 2012, the Trump Organization purchased the Doral Resort & Spa for $150 million.[2] The purchase included four of the five golf courses.[4] Trump has a $125 million mortgage on the property.[5]

In 2016, Doral completed a $250 million renovation project.[1]

Two totally different towns. Palm Beach is north in Indian Rover County, and that is where landfall will be as of now, or basically landfall. WPB and areas south like Boynton and Delray and Boca will get high winds and storm surges, but not as bad as Palm Beach.

We in PBC are hoping it jogs west within the enxt twelve hours or so.

Palm Beach is the Island where most of the super rich live. Palm Beach is also the name of the county proper. West Palm Beach is the city over the intracoastal from Palm Beach
